It sits on top of LEXI Text automatic captioning and is described by the vendor as a way to automatically translate and display captions as subtitles. That wording gives it a precise role in a live-video stack: it produces translated text channels. Consider it when viewers need language-accessible captions or subtitles during a live program, and do not represent it as a system that returns live spoken translation or a dubbed soundtrack.
The official LEXI Translate page says the product can translate captions into 120 languages and notes that each translated language requires a secondary or additional caption channel. That architecture affects routing and cost planning. A producer needs to decide which outputs are required, where channels will be displayed or delivered, and whether the target platform supports them. More language choices do not remove the need to validate a source language, target language, pathway, and program style.
What is real time
LEXI Translate qualifies as native real-time capability for translated captions and subtitles because it is part of a live captioning workflow. The tool converts a current caption stream into foreign-language subtitle channels while live content is being made accessible. It is not a later upload-and-export process. The designation is about live translated text, not a claim of low-latency audio translation, synthetic voices, or a live dub.

It would be unsafe to summarize that as every listed language having every input, caption translation, and voice output. For LEXI Translate, confirm the engine, language pair, caption format, and downstream recipient before promising coverage.
The broader product site references the iCap Cloud Network for caption and subtitle delivery, and LEXI Viewer and Ai-Live describe displaying live captions on event screens or web-enabled devices. These are useful parts of a live caption deployment, but do not establish an exact LEXI Translate integration or universal audience experience. Run a test from source audio to caption generation, translated channel, program delivery, display, and attendee device.
Production boundary
This product fits translated-subtitle requirements: a broadcaster may need language channels for a live feed; an event may need translated text on a display or viewer; an accessibility group may need a controlled caption workflow. Prepare terminology, names, speaker languages, bilingual segments, reading speed, and the behavior when speakers interrupt. Test the consumer platform’s handling of secondary caption channels. A translated caption track that exists in a service is not useful if the video platform or venue display cannot surface it.
Reviewed sources do not establish live interpreted or translated audio, live dubbed speech, a post-production dubbing workflow, or a public developer API for LEXI Translate.
